The GNOME Society Nature Festival is this Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Harper Park Pavilion! Bring the family and spend a fun-filled day discovering the wonders of nature right here in Anderson Mill.

There’s something for everyone! Learn how to attract pollinators to your garden, welcome birds to your backyard, turn kitchen scraps into garden gold, and recycle more effectively. Meet our knowledgeable speakers and special guests, explore educational exhibits, and enjoy hands-on activities that connect kids and adults with the natural world.
Get creative with nature-inspired crafts, make a seed ball, join the Nature Scavenger Hunt, and discover simple ways to make your own yard and our community greener. You might even take home a door prize or pick up inspiration for your next gardening project!
Best of all, this family-friendly community event is free! It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet your neighbors, learn something new, enjoy the outdoors, and discover how small actions can make a big difference for our environment.

National Night Out: Neighbors Connecting, Community Growing!
🎈On Tuesday, October 6, Anderson Mill residents came together to celebrate National Night Out by hosting block parties for their neighbors, friends, and families. Congratulations to everyone who stepped up to organize a gathering! These events are a wonderful way to get to know the people who live around us, strengthen neighborhood connections, and build a safer, more connected community. Whether sharing food, laughter, or conversation, every gathering helps make Anderson Mill a friendlier place to call home.
A special thank-you to Snarf’s Sandwiches for generously providing gift cards for all our block party hosts! Your support helped recognize the residents who volunteered their time and energy to bring neighbors together.

Thank you to our wonderful hosts and everyone who participated. It’s neighbors like you who make Anderson Mill such a special place to live!
Halloween Yard & House Decorating Contest
🎃Anderson Mill is getting spooky! Our Halloween decorating contest is back and we want to see even more frightfully fun, creative, and over-the-top displays throughout the neighborhood. Whether your style is spooky, silly, whimsical, or spectacular, keep those decorations coming!
See a home that deserves some Halloween recognition? Snap a photo of your favorite display and send it to greenspaces@andersonmillna.org.
Keep those pumpkins glowing, skeletons dancing, ghosts floating, and cobwebs spreading. Let’s keep the Halloween spirit alive and show off the creativity that makes Anderson Mill so much fun!
